Martin Scorsese Highlights Cinema’s Great Risk-Takers

There’s an even better way to understand your favorite directors than to just watch all of their films. It’s learning who’s work they admire. In a seven-part discussion, critically evolved director Martin Scorsese (Wolf of Wall Street, Goodfellas, Hugo) sits down to briefly talk about his favorite filmmakers of all time, and it’s not necessarily the ones you would think. For those of you who aren’t familiar with cinema in the older times, these videos can each open up a door to more magnificent movie watching. I don’t know about you guys, but I enjoy a good discussion on film; even more if it involves a director of such magnitude. Enjoy! Via Cinephilia (Other videos are up on their site)
