A Weekend Update of My Own (Ft. March Netflix Arrivals)

So here’s what the weekend has brought me so far: House of Cards: Season 3, aunt’s birthday, and a car accident. Let’s start off by saying I am NOT in the mood to even be typing this post today. I’m burdened with a sore neck and arms.. Oh, and a very bad and very restless night of sleep. I’ve got my nice cup of citrus chamomile with me today, but it’s hard to stay awake and focused on things as I’m still getting over a total shock from last night. Damn car accidents. Damn people who get distracted and ultimately rear end the heck outta folks, causing them to dent the car in front… I won’t be a debbie downer for you all, just stay aware of your surroundings. All is well now.

So prior to that incident, my weekend started off awesome Friday as I began season three of House of Cards. I’m so drowned into this political drama that I really have a hard time explaining the details! Every episode is so well-crafted and has so much going on (congress, parties, vp, the presidency, lies, schemes, money, and powerrrr). One can only grasp the gist of such a show..through gifs!!

Now the POTUS, Frank Underwood has even bigger things and threats to worry about. I’m only on episode five of this season. I’ll probably be finishing it off in a week; don’t wanna rush it. But really, Frank is just the guy we love to hate!! How can one get away with the things he does?? His manipulative skills are explosive. And what a dashing prez he makes..

UGGHHH.

I love Kevin Spacey. Haven’t I said this before?! But anyway, the show is a must watch. It’s a dynamic and powerful series. (Let me know if you are a fan! We can chat about it!) Enough of my tv pleasures. I’m working on a review of The Odd Couple (1963) that I hope to finish by the end of tonight. Before most personal tasks comes school work! I’m gonna end this post on a very bright note! I’ve collected this month’s arrivals on Netflix! Always cool news! Here they are, as shown on The Hollywood Reporter. Take a look!
